about the project
For those who may not know, Fuji X Weekly
is a photography blog dedicated to Fujifilm cameras, best known for JPEG settings called
film simulation recipes
that often mimic classic film stocks. I have published over 150 of these film simulations recipes,
and there’s even an app
so you can take them with you on the go! Most of you probably know this already.
My name is Ritchie Roesch, and I’m the guy behind the
Fuji X Weekly Blog.
I created most of the film simulation recipes myself based on my experience shooting film.
Some were created by friends of the blog, and some were collaborative efforts between myself and another.
Whenever I’m not the creator, I always ask for and receive permission before I publish the recipe,
and give credit where credit is due.
Something I have noticed is that a lot of people are creating film simulation recipes and sharing
them on their social media accounts, but they’re easily lost and forgotten. I wanted to
create a place where you can share your recipes, and where you can find recipes created by others.
That’s the idea behind the Fuji X Weekly Community —
this is a library of film simulation recipes
created by you and for you.
Feel free to look around. If you see a film simulation recipe that you think you might like,
give it a try! If you’ve created one that you want to share, use the
form to submit it.
My hope is that the Fuji X Weekly Community Page will be a fun and useful resource to Fujifilm
photographers, and it’ll be a place you visit again and again!
